REMEMBERING PROFESSOR OF ART JOHN FRAZER

I am saddened by the news that John Frazer has passed. He was undoubtedly the most profound influence on my career at Wesleyan. He helped me obtain a Fulbright Scholarship and recognized my potential. I actually feel he was my friend, although 10 years older. I can include other art professors in this concept, such as Sam Green and John Martin, not to mention Jelle De Boer, the Harold T. Stearns Professor of Earth Science, Emeritus, in the Geology Department. What Wesleyan meant to me was personal relationships of considerable value.
