Middletown Day, an annual event, offers an array of activities culminating in a Wesleyan home football game. Held this year on Sept. 26, the celebration featured a “Salute to Service,” honoring Middletown’s servicepersons and Wesleyan’s Posse Foundation veteran scholars. Prior to the football game against Middlebury, the Middletown Police Department Bagpipes and Flag Corps led the service members and Posse veterans onto Andrus Field to be recognized.
