GAME ON: Back on Top

BIANCA GONYA ’25 celebrates a point in the Wesleyan volleyball team’s sweep of Williams during the NESCAC Championship match held in Silloway Gymnasium November 11. The top-seeded Cardinals earned the program’s second NESCAC title in 2023. After going 10-0 in NESCAC regular season matches for the first time in team history, the Cardinals rolled in the postseason, sweeping Amherst in the quarterfinals before holding off Bowdoin in a four-set semifinal win. With a sweep of the Ephs in the title match, Wesleyan became the first team to win a NESCAC title match in a sweep since 2013. This was the first NESCAC Championship for the Cardinals since 2017.
