SCHOLAR ATHLETE: Stop That Puck!

Mike Palladino ’09 can stop a hockey puck before most of us can blink our eyes. As goalie, he led the NESCAC in save percentage (.920) last year, earning him a ranking of eighth nationally in Division III. For his accomplishments he was named first-team all-NESCAC. When he is not fending off pucks, Mike pursues a major in government and serves as vice president of DKE. He and his teammates are working with Habitat for Humanity, and he is currently a Big Brother for a Middletown youth. Mike likes political humor, plays intramural softball, assists with game management in athletics, bowls, and can sometimes be seen with microphone in hand for karaoke.
